AIA recognizes that clients' hiring scenarios vary greatly, depending on the urgency of need, level of position(s), internal equity issues, succession planning, location and other factors.

 

AIA is nimble and will work with you from a platform that best serves your needs - be it through a contingent engagement or a tailored retained search.  

 

AIA also will engage with clients on a more opportunistic basis wherein the client shares with AIA the ideal profile of candidate(s) it forecasts, or would like, to hire in the near, or longer term. AIA understands that a client's talent needs often are fluid. Hence, while a specific position might not be approved/open, AIA will map the candidate market for clients and keep them apprised of top talent availability.

Contingent

•Client and AIA will discuss position opening(s), including ideal candidate profile, position specifications, career path and unique selling points.

 

 

•AIA will go to market and source candidates.

 

 

•AIA will facilitate interview process for client and candidate - from initial phone screen through finalist offer negotiation and onboarding.

 

 

•Client will pay fee upon successful placement of a candidate.

•AIA will meet with the client at client's offices to discuss ideal candidate profile, position specifications, career path, and unique selling points.

 

 

•AIA will meet with the hiring manager, human resources and other key stakeholders relevant to the open position.

 

 

•AIA will create a comprehensive information packet to share with candidates. This will include detailed position description and career path; key company bios and organizational chart; overview of company environment and extracurriculars; and, "life in the community" information where the company and its employees reside.

 

 

•AIA will facilitate an interview process for client and candidate - from the initial phone screen, in-person or videoconference interview with AIA, comprehensive candidate assessment, through finalist offer negotiation and onboarding.  

 

•Client will pay one-third of the estimated fee to initiate the search. The second third of the fee will be due when a slate of candidates is identified and interviews with client commence (usually within four weeks). The final third of the fee is due upon successful placement of the candidate.

 

 

•AIA will designate dedicated time to retained search each day and provide client weekly or bi-weekly status updates. 

 

 

•AIA will offer clients and their designated team(s) communication/presentation skills workshop at client offices (please see more information on these workshops on Page 15).

•Client and AIA will discuss impending role(s) and associated ideal candidate profiles -- even though a bona fide position has not yet been approved/opened

 

 

•AIA will map the candidate market and provide the client with potential candidate backgrounds for review.

 

 

•Client will put in motion either a contingent or retained search engagement with AIA should it deem candidate(s) worthy of an initial interview(s).

 

 

•AIA will facilitate the interview process, per the contingent or retained model outlined above.

 

 

•Client will pay a fee, per the contingent or retained model.
